Josh is my youngest brother, so when him and Kate asked me to photograph their intimate wedding at the Stone Circle in Whistler, I was SO thrilled.
The day started off pouring rain, but as everyone got ready for the ceremony in the gorgeous air BNB that was also their reception venue, the rain started to fizzle out…and by the time we all arrived to the stone circle, there was not a rain drop in sight! after the ceremony and some family photos, the skies opened again and rain continued to come down for a lot of the evening, but do you think that stopped the party in any way? absolutely not!
Kate has a greek family, so dancing was an essential part of what made this day amazing. It was so wonderful to be a part of my brother and his beautiful wife’s special day. I got to cry behind my lens while mu baby brother married the love of his life, spend a weekend with my family, cry some more… and, I actually got to stay at the dance when I put my camera away and have such a wonderful time.
