Chester and Louie had such an awesome wedding. The rain poured relentlessly all through the day, but this sweet couple rolled with the punches. They moved their ceremony to a covered location, had all their family and friend gather around them, and got married to the sound of the rain falling outside.

After their traditional ceremony, we ventured outside with a few umbrellas and embraced the rain for a while. Nothing could break the smiles on their faces as we walked through the wet grass to document the incredible love and excitement they were feeling.

After photos was an eventful reception filled with so many speeches, a surprise dance from the bride and groom, a traditional and emotional indigenous drum ceremony from the brides father, welcoming them to the family and surrounding them with love, followed by plenty of games and laughs.

My favourite part was when Louie surprised Chester by singing him a song, and then immediately after, Chester got up and surprised her by singing a song as well!

To end my evening, we popped outside for the last moments of daylight (and more rain) for some more romantic shots of the bride and groom. What a great day.
